wide variety of performers who wish to maximize their fullest potential.

and engaging presentation, lecture, or counseling sessions.

Allen Weaver, Ph.D.
- Allen obtained his B.S. degree in Education from York College of Pennsylvania in
2000, and in 2003, Allen earned his M.S. degree in Sport Psychology from Miami
University in Oxford, OH. In 2006, Allen completed his Ph.D. in Human
Performance at Middle Tennessee State University. Allen’s educational pursuits
have been primarily focused on performance enhancement and leadership effectiveness.
- Allen has experience and interest in most mainstream sports.
For hobbies, golf, fitness training, and marathons have become Allen’s most recent passions.
In October 2005, Allen completed his 1st marathon in Chicago. Since then, he has also
completed the New York City Marathon in 2007, and the Nashville Music City Marathon in
2008. Since his first marathon, Allen has decreased his overall time by almost 45 minutes.
Allen begins training for the 2011 Phoenix P.F. Changs Marathon in September.
- Professionally, Allen has experience in teaching, coaching, university student affairs,
consulting, and leadership development for a major retailer. Allen has been an active
member in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), American Society
for Training and Development (ASTD), and the Association for the Advancement of Applied
Sport Psychology (AAASP).
- Allen’s consulting experience includes collegiate athletes and teams, college students and
administrators, professional athletes, high school athletic teams, police officers, business
executives, and cardiac-rehab patients.
- Although Allen has a strong background in sport and coaching, he enjoys consulting all types
of performers and is always eager to expand his expertise in unique and diverse venues.
- Allen currently resides with his dog, Buddha, in Scottsdale, AZ.
